Writing a Fable (Paired Schools)

  • In this activity, we are going to write fables in pairs.

    First, a school starts a fable and stops halfway.

    Then, the fable is sent to the partner school to be continued and finished. 

    Easy and fun! ;) We aim to develop reading & writing skills with this activity.

    Students are going to be productive and develop literacy skills (information, media)

    All the fables are going to be compiled in an eBook (storyjumper).

    Fable 3: Fox and Rabbit

    A fable written by the students from Latvia and Poland which tells about importance of critical thinking :)

    Fable 1: The Little Dolphin & The Crab

    Written by the students of Osnovna škola Pavao Belas and Ali Kuşçu İmam Hatip Secondary School. This fable puts an emphasis on the fact that union is strength.

    I met my students on zoom to brainstorm about how to continue the fable started by our partner shool's students (Osnovna škola Pavao Belas). We used edupad to write the fable. All my project students contributed to the plot with one sentence. My students had great fun while exploring the web tool edupad.

    Fable 6: A friendship born of hunger

    This fable was written by the students of ICS Tommaso Silvestri (Italy) and Alexandre Herculano School (Portugal)
