BIOGRAPHY by The Netherlands
On the 12th of June 1929, Anne was born in Germany.
In 1933 Adolf Hitler comes to power as leader of Germany. Anne Frank moves to Amsterdam.
In May 1940 Germany invades the Netherlands. In 1942 Jews must wear a yellow star. On the 14th of June Anne begins her journal. In July Anne’s family go into hiding.
On the 4th of August 1922 the Franks are discovered and arrested. On the 3rd of September the Franks are taken to a concentration camp.
In March of 1945 Anne dies from Typhus.
In 1947 Anne’s father Otto publishes her journal.
