ROSA PARKS

    BIOGRAPHY by Cyprus

Rosa was born in 1913 and lived in USA. Rosa lived at a time when life was very different for black and white people. Life was not fair. Black people did not have the same rights and had to go to different schools, churches, public toilets...Black and white people also had to seat in different seats on the bus. One day the driver told Rosa to move from her seat so as a white person seat. She did not move and she was put in jail. When she got out of jail, black people in the town stopped using the buses. This protest went on for 381 days until it was agreed that all people  could sit in any seat on the bus.
