Stefan Odobleja (b. October 13, 1902, Valea Izvorului, Mehedinți - d. September 4, 1978) was a Romanian author, philosopher, military doctor and writer, a world precursor of generalized cybernetics which he called "consonant psychology". Due to his remarkable contributions, long ignored and unrecognized, Stefan Odobleja was elected post-mortem member of the Romanian Academy (in 1990).
During his life, Stefan Odobleja practiced medicine and wrote important works on cybernetics.
