As the refugee crisis is a very relevant topic right now, Austrian students (6B) learned about the reasons why people are forced to leave their native countries and read an article about the IS and the situation in Syria. After they had answered several questions and a heated plenary discussion, the students were given a webquest about the Dublin Treaties. They had to do some research on the internet in groups of two to give them also an idea about the European dimension. The answers were discussed in class.
