PERSONAL LETTERS

  • Personal letters

In the weeks preceding the autumn holidays german students started writing letters and drawing pictures for their new friends in Greece. The parcel was then delivered to the 2. Gymnasium Eleftherio-Kordelio by the project coordinator.

The head mistress of the greek school gathered the participating students on Friday, 12th October. When the greek students learned about the letters and opend them, they were very happy and instantly wanted to learn more about their new friends.

On the next school day, on Monday, 14th October they sad down to respond to the letters. As did the german students previously, they asked many times how to express this or that in German or English.

When the german students returned back to school after their holidays, they found the parcel of letters, small presents and a greek flag, their new friends had signed in response.

Some of the letters as well as the flags stayed in the public area of the schools.

    Christmas Cards

Students of both schools enjoyed sitting down and writing postcards and letters to their fellow students at their partner school.

The collection of letters was than send to the partner school and arrived as a nice surprise after the holidays. There was also a Christmas Voki, which the Greek coordinator created for the German students and which they loved very much.
