EVALUATION

  • Evaluation

In the course of our project we used different methods of evaluation. Starting the project we asked our students about their expectations of the project and about their knowlegde of the partner country. This was done with a online survey (GER) and a survey in paper form (GR). Here are the results of the German survey, for which we used the online survey tool leonie-sh.de (free to use for teachers in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein).

During the project we asked students to give us a feedback as to how much the liked the different project activities and whether or not they had the impression that the activities helped them the gain new knowledge or ideas about a certain topic.

These evaluations were in part done orally by simply asking the students or in the shape of exit polls, where students were asked to vote when leaving the class room.

We also tried the survey tools coming along with the TwinSpace, but since we used the TwinSpace more for our project's presentation we did not used these tools a lot.

In the aftermath of the project meeting to Itzehoe, the Greek teachers developed a survey to gather the students impressions of the study trip and to learn wether of not they were able to reach the goals we intended with the meeting. They used the online tool esurv.org (free to use after registration) and had the students fill out the questionnaire in the German school's computer lab. The results of this survey can be found under the section First Meeting/Evaluation here at our TwinSpace. A similar approach was planed for the second project meeting in Thessaloniki.

At the very end of our project we did again a survey at both schools, one again in paper form at the Greek school and using leonie-sh.de at the German school. The results of the German evaluation can be seen here:

Since the Greek survey does exist as bunch of paper forms only and no digital form was available jet, we'll present some pictures of it instead:
