The is a technical high school and is situated in the center of Istanbul. Our School started to give education in 1999. The school is built on an area of 13.000m2, 3.880 m2 of which is indoor, with 2 buildings having 4 floors. We have 1010 students and 96 teachers in our school. Also we have evening school for adults. For adult education we have 150 students . There are six departments in our school; Catering, ICT, Child Development and Education,Fashion,Textile Technology, Graphics and Photography,The school gives our students the opportunity to benefit from the technological improvements and knowledge, and to develop their skills and reach a level of competing with the same education institutions in contemporary countries and Turkey.

Our main interest in this project is to offer an opportunity for our students to learn something new from their peers which seems to be the most motivating way of learning. On the other hand, we would like to offer something that is completely new to students from other schools . It is going to be helpful for our students to get deeper information and deep experience about European culture, life, democracy, sustainable development. We hope that it is going to be great opportunity to understanding and learning European citizen consept for our students and teachers. Because our country candidate for EU , not yet a member of the EU, officaly we want to be a part of EU. The project will enable us to exchange ideas, interculturel exchange, skills, abilities and knowledge. We believe that hands-on experience and learning directly from each other is powerful motivation. Such experience is irreplaceable. Meeting people from other countries is both personally and professionally enriching. The students will learn about the cultural backgrounds of other participants. That will enable them to broaden their horizons, to overcome their cultural barriers and biased judgements. We expect the project will prepare them to become broad-minded European citizens. Students directly involved in the project will develop new social skills and communication, accountability, initiative, flexibility, stress management, problem solving, teamwork, flexibility, awareness of their strengths and limits ability to trade and to the relationship with the public, tolerance and acceptance in cultures different from their own in a real perspective of creating an "European citizen".

The staff who will study in this Project have participated to in both national and international projects, eager for such studies, experienced in education, worked in different type of the schools, have language qualifications, participated to different activites with their students and happy to study with their students and give importance to do innovative study for their institutions.
