  • Students and teachers from St Joan Antide School from Malta, Municipal Primary School Dimitar Makedonski from Skopje and Artunskoli from Iceland stayed at Zlatar Bistrica Elementary School from April 5 to 7, 2022 within the Erasmus + project School Permaculture Garden.

    Numerous project activities were carried out with the aim of introducing, cooperating and connecting students and teachers from the mentioned partner schools with which the Zlatar Bistrica Elementary School is implementing this project. 


    Guests from the mentioned schools got to know our school, teachers planted vines, students participated in a workshop in the school garden led by teacher Andreja Jertec and sowed vegetable seeds and in a creative digital workshop led by teacher Jasenka Kuljak, and were actively involved and principal Jasna Kokot Pelko, teachers Marta Hajster, Kasandra Totović and Sandra Belinić and teacher Domagoj Patek while the project coordinator is Snježana Kovačević.

    The students of the Project Group and the students who performed with a dance point from urban dance stood out in the event, and the students of the 4th grade prepared healthy snacks as well as tried dishes prepared and brought by our guests.

    Andrija Vitković spoke to the participants of the project about the ecological cultivation of the garden, and Tihana Vuković about healthy lifestyles.

    The project partners visited Zelenjak-Trail through the canopy, the Museum of Krapina Neanderthals in Krapina, the Botanical Garden and the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb, and Predrag Matijanić gave a lecture on cyclomobility at the school.

    During this activity, a project meeting was held at which the last two mobilities were agreed - to Northern Macedonia and Iceland.
