LO im. S. Żeromskiego - “...fill the earth and subdue it”

  • “...fill the earth and subdue it

We are planning with the partners to create an interactive atlas showing the distribution of various types of power plants in our countries, including information on the share of individual types of power plants in the total electricity production in each country.
As part of this issue, our students prepared presentations in which they showed various types of power plants in Poland, with particular emphasis on the use of renewable energy sources.

    OUR PRESENTATIONS

POWER PLANTS IN POLAND - ALAN BAKALARSKI.pdf

Power plants in Poland - Mateusz Ciaszkiewicz, Jakub Bieganowski, Patrycja Jakubczak.odp

energy resources - Mateusz Ciaszkiewicz, Jakub Bieganowski, Patrycja Jakubczak.odp

Using the materials, we also prepared an interactive map of Poland showing the location of power plants of various types in our country, on which the colour of the symbol showing the location of the object corresponds to the colour of the segment in the circular diagram showing the share of various types of power plants in the production of electricity in Poland. After clicking on the icon, we obtain information about the given power plant together with a photo of the object.

The map was presented at a project meeting in Malta and handed over to the French school, which is responsible for creating the atlas.
