Image processing and multimedia applications are parts of our class curriculum.
Task 1
Our team (B2 class) created a gif (animated picture) file based on a drawing made by our student Lydia a few days ago.
We created four almost similar images of the original drawing using the open source image processing program Gimp. The animated picture (gif file) was created in Gimp using picture layers.

Task2
Our team (Alexandrer, Keterina, Xristos, Christina, Anastasia, Fotis, Aggelos, Michaela, Lydia, Helen, Helen) worked on image transformation using the open source image processing program Gimp. The theme of our images is the SUN. Yes the SUN!
Why? Because the sun plays an extremely important role in our project.
Students processed pictures in Gimp and uploaded the pictures in a common google presentation. Each slide is made by one or two students and it contains the original and the processed image.
We would be very glad if students and teachers from other schools could choose the picture they like best.

Students from our team created videos presenting the project process in Aigio (tasks). We used pictures taken by our team during 2019 in Aigio and the music is public domain.

We used the open source kdenlive (video processing program) in ubuntu operating system (see picture).
Today, 29/11/2019, the B2b part of the B2 class (Faidra, Giannhs, Marily, Fotini, Dionisis, Myrto, Fotinos, Marios, Peter, Maourisio, Katerina) created the collaborative presentation “2019 - A Globe in Aigio.
We took pictures of a Globe in our school yard and arround our school. Our students used image processing tools in Gimp and uploaded the original and the processed image in the following google presentation.

Eratosthenes 2019 and sound processing.
Students from our team (Alexandrer, Keterina, Xristos, Christina, Anastasia, Fotis, Aggelos, Michaela, Lydia, Helen, Helen) found the most active countries that participate in Eratosthenes 2019 project looking at the twinspace.https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?fbclid=IwAR3_ImRdkKORzslhiAmdA949iWRSqbAfOYQzzrex_RwhqPzBwhJ9gI9TwyM&mid=12hZxaPfLWT9dnu_7io4iQG80a-1_wKjq
Using Audacity (open source sound processing program) students record the continents and the countries and processed the .mp3 sound file using audacity tools. In the initial recorded file there was an error. Pakistan was recorded twice and Tynisia was missing. Using audacity the .mp3 file was corrected and a public domain song was also added.
Four variations are presented here.

The B2b part of the class (Faidra, Giannhs, Marily, Fotini, Dionisis, Myrto, Fotinos, Marios, Peter, Maourisio, Katerina) created video using the audio file that their classmates (Alexandrer, Keterina, Xristos, Christina, Anastasia, Fotis, Aggelos, Michaela, Lydia, Helen, Helen) had produced on the 3rd of December.
The videos contain the flags of the most active countries in the project.
We used the Openshot video processing program in Ubuntu operating system.
