Students' second workshop/online debate

  •

    The workshop:

April 15, 2021, 11:30 - 12:30 using the Zoom platform. The link will be sent to you soon.

Teachers, please write your students names and emails here:

    Students and teachers

A note to our colleagues from Cyprus and Greece: Please write the names of the students in both Greek and Latin alphabet, in addition to the name and email address. It will make the technical part easier. Thank you!

A total of 20 students will participate, which means four from each country. They will be divided into two groups: the affirmative and the negative.  Each group will consist of ten students, two from each partner school. Students will not know in advance which side they will represent (pro or contra), therefore, they must be equally prepared for both variants, i.e. find enough arguments and counter-arguments for the initial thesis.

Students will discuss in groups the prepared arguments and examples from their own history and jointly define and grade the line of argument. In listing their arguments, they will state the strongest arguments first, and then the weaker one, and so on. They will also be able to counter-argue the opposing group on their allegations (the application allows it) just below other group’s arguments.
