EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT

  • Evaluation is essential in order to assess the outcomes of our project and its impact on our school community.

We have evaluated our project at different stages:

    INITIAL EVALUATION

At the beggining of the project we used Mentimeter to ask participants about their expectations and test their previous knowledge about the subject

    ON-GOING EVALUATION

After the completion of the activities students were asked to give some feedback and interaction through collaborative walls, twinboards, surveys, polls, votes, debates...

Also, at the end of every student exchange and teacher training participants were evaluated about the results obtained in the activiteis they have taken part in.

    RESULS OF THE EVALUATION

Students have shown that they have liked working on this project and that it has been a good and enjoyable experience from which they have learnt. Most students have changed their habits to more healthy ones and foster their knowleadge about health, sports, mindfulness and other European countries. They feel that the project is innovative and have used ICT tools to implement it.  Definitely they would recommend this project to other students.

Teachers enjoyed working on the project and liked the topic, they felt motivated towards the use of English and ICT thanks to the project. Although sometimes they found difficulties to carrying out activities and communicating.

It is important to mention that this project was beeing carried out when the COVID-19 pandemic outburst and this cause some difficulties, as schools were closed, students were sent home and people were in lock down. Despite all these difficulties we are very proud because we manage to continue the project, carry out the activities and achieve the goals settled at the beginning.

Families that participated on the survey are quite happy with the results and acknowledge that this experience is benefitial for their children.

Perhaps, we could have make them feel even more included in the activities and not just during the exchanges.
