Our project has recently been referred to in the e-journal of the Portuguese Ministry of Education, NOESIS.

Escola Secundária Dr. Joaquim Gomes Ferreira Alves

Our school project made the front cover of a local newspaper "O Gaiense" on 27th April 2019.

At the City Hall of Vila Nova de Gaia, the ESDJGFA students have been invited to address the community and talk about our eTwinning project and the SDG. 

On 20 June, a group of students challenged the decision-makers to help a school in East Timor (SDG#4 and SDG#17) and the Mayor accepted the challenge.

On 25 April, a student addressed the community to talk about Quality Education (SDG#4). 

Just when the project started and at the beginning of the school year we joined a global event to spread the word about SDG and the 2030 UN Agenda. On 25th September we celebrated the SDG at our school.
