Due to the significant impact of the preceding project “Every Day is Earth Day” (2017-2018), the schools involved decided to carry it on in a more community-focused scope, considering that the impact of the project in their schools has raised enough awareness to favour a pinpointed intervention in each school/community. So, the partner schools propose themselves to implement a whole-school approach and, through it, take action within their community. With this project, we intend to empower our students with knowledge and simultaneously develop their communicative skills through the interaction with each other. The UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 will remain the basis of our work in such a way that all the students involved will learn and discuss them and propose solutions for reaching them at their school/community. This way they will become effective instruments of change and develop a lifelong interest in improving their community and by extent their country and planet.
