On may 2, we had the activity "A writer comes to school" with author Tiago Salgueiro and her book " Colorful nursery rhymes".

The children opened the session with the dramatization of one of the author's book rhymes, chants, which was followed by a small intervention where he explained as if it raises the creative project that gives rise to the various characters that populate the stories.

The visit ended with by an autograph session and the purchase of the books by the children

Yesterday, Francisco Moita Flores, a well-known Portuguese writer came to our school and talked to our students about his work and what it means being a writer. Some of the students in our project attended and enjoyed it very much!

Author Elisabetta Gnone visited our school and met our students to talk about reading, writing and the creative process. Our students asked her a lot of questions about her books "Olga di Carta" , " Fairy Oak" and WITCH. It was an amazing experience and our students went back to school more confident and really inspired.

Some of our students from the 5th and the 6th grade received the visit from a local children's book writer, Marisa Alves, who presented them her book, "O Sono da Primavera", and also organized a writing workshop about Christmas, letting them write, read, interact and take risks—all at their own pace.

On October 11, we had the activity "A writer comes to school" with author Clara Haddad and her book "Dust of the Stars".
After having told the story and explored the illustration of the book, it was followed by an autograph session and the purchase of the books by the children. During this time there was still room for children to manipulate and explore the book.
