How we celebrated Europe Day at 9th of May
We joined by Skype, wishing Happy Europe and eTwinning Day and after that, we drew on flockdraw collaboratively. Turkey had problem of connection, so turkish people drew the same time but in a different screen. 11th Primary and 11th Pre Primary Schools worked together in one classsroom.
Students sang EU anthem and drew pictures.

It was a great pleasure for us to work together at the same time on Europe Day, painting the famous sights of our countries. Our students were thrilled to recognize the sights that other students draw such as the Egyptian Lighthouse in Chania, the sculpture of Angelita in Anzio and the Galata Bridge In Instabul.

E-TWINNING DAY
May 9th is the eTwinning Day but also the end of the Spring Campaign. In order to celebrate eTwinning and Cultural Heritage, which was the theme of the spring campaign, teachers and pupils have been invited to become creative and recreate a European work of art of our choice and to share it with other schools by uploading it to a padlet: https://padlet.com/ assi_honkanen / th1iipjfwn8pH
C2 class of our school decided to recreate the painting of Yannis Tsarouchis "4 Seasons" and the result is shown in the photos below. Brilliant!
TURKEY FARABI PRIMARY SCHOOL
On May 9, e-twinning and Europe Day has been celebrated by connecting via videoconference skype; because of some connection problems, we had to drew on another screen but we sang European Union Anthem in Turkish language and said hello, friendship, peace, refugee words in Greek and Italian languages. We also sang a Peace Song on the internet.
