Carly: the story of a child refugee

  • Friends,

Our students watched the animation film “Irini”, were involved in various activities and drew pictures from the story that spoke to their hearts. At the following link you can see the story illustrated by the children and you can add your own drawings. We will be happy to see your illustration of the story.

During our english lessons we created an english picture dictionary that depicted the main meanings and emotions that the students retrieved from the story.Furthermore, we used the wordart application to create images that include the feelings we learned in english.

We also had the chance to translate in english the poems the students had written after reading a number of books about children refugees and the refugee problem in general.
