The third short term training event was held in České Budfějovice 09th – 15th December 2018, mainly with the purpose of organizing a JA company fair together with sharing ideas about JA companies in each participating country.

Firstly, the students were pretested online for Business English - Chapter 8: Human resources (from the Market Leader book) - before they arrived. The opening ceremony took place in Národní památkový ústav and we hosted a representative from the JA Czech, who discussed the JA experience with all the participating countries. At the first meeting at school the first day students took part in different activities connected with the transcultural topic of this meeting – Christmas. At the end of this session they shared the most significant information about Christmas traditions of each participating country in international teams. Afterwards, the English teachers checked their knowledge gained during the activities. Then there was a presentation check – the students presented their presentations about JA companies and Job market to commercial teachers who gave feedback to them and advised them how to improve their presentations and presenting skills. As 10 December is dedicated to the interantional Human Rights Day the Slovak teachers prepared a workshop – students were working in groups on different tasks.

The second day was started with presentations about JA companies and we continued with two specimen lessons of business English, where the students worked again in international teams on the topic of Human recourses, with four English teachers. Three other English teachers checked if the students would be prepared them for the oral part of the LCCI exam. A company (brewery Budvar) was visited by the students to learn some possibilities how to present a company to the public, then an individual preparation for the JA companies fair could be done (signs for the fair stalls). Meanwhile, the teachers´ meeting was held with the purpose of discussing the follow-up project.

On the third day a cultural trip to Hluboká nad Vltavou was made for the foreign participants to learn and compare information from the history. The JA companies fair was held at the hosting school which practiced the presentation and selling skills of all students. They used the signs prepared the previous day. The final scene for the film about VET4SCAPE were filmed.

On the fourth day students were taught the next two specimen lessons again in international teams and three other English teachers checked if the students would be prepared them for the oral part of the LCCI exam. Short interviews for the film about VET4SCAPE were filmed. A cultural trip to a nearby town of Český Krumlov was held, where the participants (in international teams) again gained other information about the Czech Christmas traditions and history.

On the fifth day, the transcultural competences were enlarged during a Christmas session in a church, where the coordinator and all the participants shared the Christmas religious traditions. Then students were tested again to evaluate what they had learned during the training event, results of pretesting and testing were compared and discussed during the second teachers´ meeting, where the teachers evaluated the whole project. Meanwhile, the students worked again on the transcultural topic – Christmas – with the hosting students. Finally, the certificates and Europasses were given to the teachers and the students.

The outcomes from the third short term training event are the presentations (about JA companies and Job market) improved after the teachers´ feedback, all the materials were put in the Twinspace and on the website of the project.
