     Informative poster

    Date:  2016 November

    Participants: Teachers of the Lithuanian language, teacher of Arts and students/immigrants.

    Objectives: Introduction of the project. Creation of an informative poster.

    Description: It was an introductory activity, to inform foreign students about the project, its partners and objectives.The project includes 4 countries Spain, Italy, Latvia, and Lithuania.The title „Information and Educational Materials for Refugees and Immigrants “.The period is for two years 2016-2018. It was also highlighted that students are an integral part of the project and may present their ideas how to improve the ongoing activities.

    Dissemination: Photos were shared in the twinspace and on Vilnius Adult Education Centre's (VAEC) website.

    Introducing the project to the centre's community

    Date: 2017 December

    Participants: National students, teachers and foreign students/immigrants

    Objectives: Briefly present the project to Adult Education Centre's community.  

    Description: Student's were introduced to the project's main objectives, its partners and final product. Both national and foreign students were welcomed to take active participation in the project. The centre has an informative stand where all the ongoing activities are being displayed and shared with the community.

    "Understanding attitudes to immigration" part 1

    The survey is going to be repeated (part 2) after the awareness campaign is finished in March

    Date: 2016 December - 2017 January

    Participants: Students and teachers of VAEC.

    Objectives: To analyze the attitudes of the national students towards immigrants and immigrations. 

    Description: Survey includes 23 questions. Questionnaire was adopted from the survey by European Social Survey (ESS) conducted by the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration Department of Economics, University College London. The survey was designed to measure aspects of VSMC students' opinion toward immigration.

    Evaluation: 51 person participated.

    Objectives: To get informed on the subject of immigration.

    Description: National students were searching the Internet for information on immigration. They had to prepare presentations and report back to their classmates. Some wrote essays expressing their thoughts about immigration, whereas foreign students shared their experience of immigration and living in a foreign country.

    Evaluation: Quantitative: Approximately 20 Students of three upper secondary classes participated during the presentations.

    Objectives: To present the project on a national level and disseminate the information about the project and activities. 

    Description: Dissemination at the international conference “Literacy in the Digital Age”, where the teachers Jelena Alekniene (math and IT teacher) and Ana Tymchiuk (teacher of English) prepared tabletop presentation, made a report on Erasmus+ KA2 project’s activities, objectives, and partners.

    Evaluation: There were many questions from the participants and the American International School of Vilnius is looking forward to cooperating with us in the project.

    Filming of video material

    Date:  Start 2017-01

    Participants: National students, teachers of the Lithuanian language

    Objectives: Create videos lesson to tackle the difficulties and strong parts of the process.

    Description: Video lessons for teaching foreign students Lithuanian language. Teacher of Lithuanian prepared script and students role-played the lesson. Everything was filmed. It is still in the process of editing, subtitling and cutting. The video is going to be uploaded into a closed YouTube channel.
