MINUTES OF MEETING N°3 IN SPAIN
01-6 June 2015
- Next meeting will take place in Italy, from the 4th until the 10th of October
The Italian team presents the draft of the program for the next meeting.They will send it to all of us by mail.
Confirmed dates for the meeting: from the 4th until the 10th October.
- Battipaglia is 70 km far from Naples, so it’s the nearest big city to arrive (by plain or train). Italian team should book a private transport to reach Battipaglia from Naples for us.
Accomodation: teachers and English pupils will stay in a Hotel in the center (50/55 euros), the rest of the pupils are hosted by families
Program:
Day 1 (Sunday): arrival of delegations
Day 2 (Monday): visit of the school in the morning, and visit to Salerno in the afternoon.
Day 3 (Tuesday): mountain bike activity in the morning and walk in the medieval historical center in the afternoon.
Day 4 (Wednesday): Visit to a farm (mozzarella cheese), and visit to Paestum in the afternoon.
Day 5 (Thursday): Walk along “The path of the Gods” (around 4 hours walk). Visit to Amalfi coast in the afternoon.
Day 6 (Friday): Walk in the morning, at S. Michaels in the morning, visit to an olive oil producer in the afternoon, and farewell party.
Day 7 (Saturday): departure of the delegations.
Work to prepare:
Each country should present a work related with the circuit: a simple presentation of the circuit, including a map and explanations. It can be recorded (video) but the way of presentation will be individual in mixed groups, each student presents to the rest of the group.
Work to be done:
An account e-twinning for students attending next meeting should be created by coordinators to make the contact easier between the students before the mobility.
All the partners have to send the financial summary of this first year and the copies of the bills to the coordinator (Mr. Nicolas Moreau.)
2.-Number of students:
Number of pupils: According to the project the number of pupils should be four because some partners expressed their inconvenience to send or receive more than four. Actually, this number could be rearranged if the hosting partner agrees. For this meeting the hosting country (Spain) has accepted 2 more students from each country and one more from U.K. For the next meeting Italian team agrees with receiving 6 from each country. The English team should inform them if they prefer to travel only with 4 students.
Spanish team asks about the possibility of travelling with 8 pupils, exceptionally.The Italian team accepts but it would be confirmed later depending on the availability of transports.
3.- Participation of students:
The English coordinator would be informed about the activities with enough time to get all the authorisations for taking part in the activities.
Students attending the mobilities should be ready to take part in the activities, they should be open minded and face them with a smile.
The French team recommends to choose sporty students to attend the mobility in France, a raid is already planned for this mobility (two days of bike activity)
4 – Meeting number 5 in Peterlee
Dates for the next transnational meeting: 9th to 15th of November. We’ll need three days for meeting and 2 days for travelling, we’ll wait for Mr. Ian Kell to confirm us the exact dates.
5.-Discussion points for the next meeting
Evaluation tests
The French team will tell us if we should continue with the tests (the same as all the students have passed at the beginning of the project)
Anyway a new test adjusted to the project should be prepared for the assessment of the process.
About the age of the students:
A discussion about the age gap will be restarted in the next transnational meeting, it could mean changes on the group of students chosen but only in the third year of the project.

The date suggested for this meeting is the first week of June 2016.
