Circuit Sésame in Montpellier (4th – 10th of June)

On Saturday the 4th of June we went with all of the Dutch pupils and 2 teachers with a plane to Montpellier. When we got there we went home with our host family, I stayed with Romane and her parents and 2 younger sisters. They were all very nice and very welcoming. In the afternoon we went to Romane’s school to pick up another girl that was staying with us, her name was Damineh. Saturday evening we went to a French girl’s house for a pizza party! We went there with a couple of Dutch pupils and also some French and Spanish girls. We had a lot of fun and the food was really nice as well. On Sunday we went tot he beach with the same people as the night before and we swum and we had a picnic there. The weather was very nice and there was a lot of sun! On Monday we went to the lake of Salagou, where we did a Raid, which is a day where you do a lot of different sports activities such as biking, running and canoeing. That evening we also ate Brasucade there, which was very nice! On Tuesday we went to visit the caves of Clamousse and in the afternoon we had the choise to do a 1 or 3 hour walk. We also had a little bit of free time so we could explore the village and maybe buy some souvenirs. On Wednesday we went tot he Vincent Badie College (the school the French pupils attend to) and we followed a lesson there, in the afternoon we had the choise to either go biking or go hiking and after that we returned to our host families. In the evening there were a couple of Dutch girls, who came swimming in our house, because some of the French girls had a boxing lesson. On Thursday we went to Montpellier and we did a treasure hunt there, after that we had a bit of free time to look around and eat something. In the afternoon we went to a tree park where you could do a parcours in the trees and after that we went tot he beach. On Friday we went to their school and we followed a few lessons there and in the afternoon we had free time. We went with a couple of Dutch and French pupils tot he house of the grandma of Emma (a French pupil) and we all swam there. In the evening we had a concert and a farewell party at their school, which was a lot of fun! On Saturday we had to leave to go back to The Netherlands, unfortunately. Everybody was very sad, because everyone had so much fun this week and it went by way to fast. I had so much fun this week and if I could I would definitely do it again!
