    Circuit Sésame: Trip to France

On 4 June, I went to France, together with 11 other Dutch students and two teachers. Once I arrived there, I went to the house of my host’s father. My host, who’s called Emma, just like me J, showed me the garden and the house. Later that day, we went to a pizza party in the house of a friend of Emma. A lot of other people from the project came as well.

The next day, we went to the beach with a whole bunch of other people. We swam a bit and had a great time. In the evening, Emma and I went to the house of Emma’s mother, where I would stay the rest of the week. There, I got a “tour de la maison”.

On Monday, we had a “raid” by the “Lac du Salagou”. It was a sporty day, which I enjoyed.

On Tuesday, we visited the Clamouse caves, hiked along the way to “Santiago de Compostella” and visited “Saint Guilhem le Désert. In the evening, Emma’s friend, Océane, and her correspondent, my friend called Madelief, came to us to eat dinner. We played “Twister” and laughed a lot.

The next day, we got a tour of the school of the French students. After that, you could either cycle our hike. I decided to hike, together with some friends of mine. Today was also the day another teacher of us, the Dutch students, arrived.

On Thursday, we visited the city of Montpellier. In the afternoon, we went to “Villeneuve les Maguelone” and climbed in trees. Emma and I had dinner together with Madelief, Océane and her family.

On Friday, all countries had to present their own flyer. After this, we had free time. Together with a lot of other people, Emma and I went to Emma’s grandparents’ house to swim. I had a lot of fun! As this was the last day that everyone was in France, there was a farewell dinner and party in the evening. I danced quite a lot and had a great time!

On the last day, Saturday, we, the Dutch people, went back to the Netherlands.

I loved the whole week and I want to thank all the lovely people for the great time I had. I will miss you!
