On June 13th and 14th everybody at the German school could swap their lessons for one of more than 50 workshops which were offered during the "COME!" project days. These workshops covered a wide range of different topics: While some students worked on mobility on bikes, others examined the ways in which our clothes are produced and then transported to Europe and one group created posters showing their favourite European countries. Some projects combined the overall subject of mobility with the visual arts and students produced small hot air baloons representing EU member states, European themed mobiles or painted the lockers at our school. The more athletic minded could participate in a Circus project or learn dances from all across the continent and others worked on a buffet with specialities from different nations. Everybody had a lot of fun (and most also learned some new things) while the entire school was abuzz with energy. Quite naturally students (and teachers) were excited to show their results to their families and friends who were invited for a big school party on June 15th. The party, too, was a huge success and the only thing most people found a bit sad is that "COME!" is now nearing its end.
