Measurement gravity acceleration

8.2. - 9.2. 2016

Hello, so we here on the touristic hotel called "Višňovka" in Dobratice pod Prašivou, nearby Frýdek-Místek.

We´re trying to measure the gravity here. And as you can see below, we´re also cooking on our own.

There are total of 22 people, 8 boys and 14 girls. We study at grammar school in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. There are 2 teachers with us -  our physics teacher and our math teacher.

We´re here for two days only but we will try our best to do as many measurements as we can because we love physics. For example, right now we are doing 6 projects. We´re divided into 5 groups, so each group is doing one project, but the group with the easiest project is doing 2 projects. It´s fun to do this. I think most of the people here never did somehing like this before, and probably they will never do it again.

We measure gravity acceleration by this methods:

1)Simple pendulum

2) Body mass and gravity force

 

3) Inclined plane

4)Subatmosferic pressure
