The meeting was organised and carried out but he teachers and students from Sassari, Sardinia. Students and teachers from Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland met again to learn about inclusion.
On the first day we could all take part in a virtual tour around the school in Sassari and later we all focused on emotions: how to recognise them, talk about them and work with them. Livorno team presented some yoga exercises to relax. It was a great chance to get to know people who joined the meeting.
The second day was a workshop on stories. Students worked with bookcreator.com and prepared the stories about the roots of their countries, regions and themselves. Later everyone could listen and read the legends and myths from partner countries.
On the third day we started with some ice-breakers. Students were guessing whether the things they told others were true or false. It was a nice game that helped us to feel relaxed and welcomed. Later we learned about Agenda 2030 thanks to the video shared by Graziella and some quizzes which helped the students to check how much they remembered. The students had a great opportunity to compete in a Kahoot game. In the second part of the meeting a Livorno team presented a video showing the methods and exercises for students so that they were able to understand how the students with special needs feel and survive in everyday life. We could see the Italian students helping the people who cannot see or putting on their socks and shoes with one hand ony.
The fourth day the coordinating teachers talked about their countries- what they love about them and what are the stereotypical opinions about their nations. Next Ms Grazziela talked about resilience- how we acquire it and why it is important. Students could share their methods of dealing with stressful situations. Later Ms Rosanna encouraged the students to make their own kite from simple materials like straws and paper.
On the last fifth day of the meeting we took part in a webinar by Gavino Puggioni on digital wellbeing. We could learn how to use social network, how to recognize fake news, what cyberbullying and HIkikomani is, what digital professions there are and the importance of inline reputation.
