Eco-brochure

  • "Something will die in us, humans, if we allow the destruction of what is left of nature…. if we poison what remains of clean air, we pollute the rest of the streams and lead our paved roads through the last silent places."

    Wallace Stenger

Earth, our planet. So beautiful and unique. Each of us would like to breathe fresh and clean air, enjoy the beauty of nature and use natural resources. How long will this be possible?

Excessive carbon dioxide emissions and unwise use of natural resources cause irreversible damage to the natural environment. Our climate is changing, which threatens not only animals and plants, but also us, humans. The Netherlands, a country just above sea level, could be partially flooded in a few years' time. Pollution of the environment, especially air, is one of the causes of diseases of civilization. Floods, droughts and other natural disasters can cause crop failure and famine in the world.

What to do to prevent the future of our planet from looking like a frame from a movie about the apocalypse? You should start with yourself, with our daily habits. Save water and energy, turn off the light when you are not in the room, sort waste. These are seemingly trivial activities that, thanks to the involvement of ordinary people, can bring tangible results. Showing how important our daily habits are was the main goal of our students who, after careful analysis of their daily activities, determined what they can do to live more eco-friendly. This is how the eco-brochure was born. Eco brochure was designed and made by our students to share their knowledge and observations with other students.
