C3 - Reuse - Short-term exchange of students - BULGARIA

  • November 7 - 13 Teachers J.Šimkonienė and J.Bartainienė, teachers of Kaunas Milikoniai Progymnasium, students of grades 7b and 8d went to a mobility meeting in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The Erasmus + project “Think Again. It’s not rubbish” took place in this city. The students and teachers from other countries Turkey, Romania, Poland and Lithuania had a great time.

During the trip, various project activities, seminars, trips, educations related to ecology, pollution and waste sorting took place.

Students from all countries introduced waste sorting in their countries. Students talked about the environmental problems they face in their country and how they could solve them. Pupils from the partner countries and ours presented conclusions and highlighted similarities and differences.

The future action plan was approved during the meeting and the date of the next meeting in Lithuania was planned.

We are looking forward to welcoming guests from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Poland to our progymnasium on October 10-16 in Kaunas.

    Student feedback:

Augustė: I saw spectacular mountains; it was hard to climb but the friendship helped me overcome them. Roses smell everywhere.

Smiltė: The Romanians were the friendliest, we danced, communicated and laughed a lot. I enjoyed the green parks of Sofia and the Turkish dance.

Karolis: The long flight exhausted me, but I was impressed by the friendliness of the children from other countries.

Vytautas: High buildings between the mountains and some ancient schools dominate in this country. The city is really beautiful, but for me Kaunas is more beautiful. The project was great; I would like to repeat.

Skirmantė: The friendliest were the Romanians. I am already waiting for the guests to come to Lithuania.

Lėja: I liked Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria, with its old architecture and a pedestrian street.

    Laurinta: Everything was great.
