    Roma

    Rome, the capital of Italy, is a large city, whose history, which dates back to about 3000 years ago, has influenced the whole world. The historic center, enclosed within the Aurelian and Gianicolense walls, includes 25,000 points of environmental and archaeological interest. Legend has it that in 753 BC two brothers, Romulus and Remus, were founded in Rome by the famous she-wolf, which has now become an iconographic symbol of the capital, together with one of its most important monuments: the Colosseum. La Giustiniana is a district in the northwest of the city. A marriage between nature and both civil and religious architecture.

    I live in the province of Ordu in Turkey.The sea and its green nature are fascinating.The climate here constitutes a transition between Black Sea and continental climate. It gets rain every season. Since it is rainy every season, the vegetation mostly consists of forest. Mostly hazelnuts, corn and potatoes are produced in the region. Beekeeping and honey production are very important here.

    I live in Erzurum. This is east of Turkey. It is cold and snowy in winters and dry in summers. It was home to ancient civilizations and many nations lived here in its time. It is one of the most developed provinces in the East. Palandoken Mountain is famous, in 2011, the winter Olympics among universities in the world were held here. Many skiers and snowboarders come and stay here every winter. Cag kebab, stuffed kadayif, ayran soup are famous. People are very warm and sincere, hospitable and helpful.

    Konya
    Konya is the largest city in Turkey in terms of its surface area and the seventh most populous one. Konya, which is composed of 31 districts, has a population of 2.205.609 according to TUIK’s 2018 data.

    Konya, one of the most developed cities of Turkey in terms of economy, is also important with its natural and historical richness. Çatalhöyük, one of the oldest settlements in the world, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city was the capital of the Anatolian Seljuks. A well-known Sufi, Rumi's tomb is in Konya. It is one of the most important industrial cities of Turkey.

    Çatalhöyük, one of the oldest settlements in the world, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2012. The city was the capital of Anatolian Seljuks and Karamanids. It is one of Turkey's most important industrial city. Local dishes are Etliekmek, Okra Soup, Mevlana pastry, Tiriti, Konya Pilaf and Fırın kebab. The symbols of Konya are Mevlana Museum (Kubbe-i Hadrâ), double-headed eagle.

    My hometown Adana is located at the south of Turkey. The city is located near Mediterranean Sea. Adana is most famous for its cuisine and kebaps. Adana kebap is worldwide famous. Also Taşköprü is a historical sign of the city. It was built in Roman times. The bridge is the oldest bridge which is still being used. Adana is one of the biggest cities in terms of its survey; 14.030 km2. This city’s population is 2.062.226. There are 15 districts in total and 4 of them are located in the city center. Adana is the 5th biggest city of Turkey after Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir and Bursa. Adana has a big civilisation and a great history which goes to B.C 3000. Through the history, in the lands of Adana there were big civilisations such as Rome, Byzantine, Asyria, Persian, Alexander the Great, Mameluke, Seljuq Empire.

    The Grand Bazaar, which hosts more than 3000 shops and is almost impossible to see in one day, is the oldest shopping center in the world.The 573-meter-long Tunnel, built in 1875, is the third oldest metro in the world. Also, Istanbul has the 23rd longest metro line in the world.Istanbul is also the home of historical buildings, with its history stretching from antiquity to today. Hagia Triada Church, Fener Greek Patriarchate and Galata Tower are just a few of these structures.

    KAYSERİ

    Kayseri has been one of the most important trade centres of Anatolia over history. Located right in the centre of the country, it has the feel of a modern, busy city but also has a strong traditional and religious atmosphere. The setting is spectacular, with the mountains of Erciyes Dagi and Kara Dagi in the background, a snow-capped volcano and green fields, and the nearby Sultansazligi bird sanctuary. The city is also well known for its textile and carpet industry, and has impressive monuments that reflect its history. Kayseri has always been a popular option as a base to explore Cappadocia.

    Kahramanmaraş is located in the Mediterranean region and it is a province in Turkey. The province is divided into 10 districts. According to the 2018 data, the population of the province is 1,444,851. It’s covering an area of 14,327 km². Kahramanmaraş has a rich cuisine. The first thing that will come to your mind is its ice-cream. If you visit the province, it is like a mandatory to taste this delicious ice-cream. Its founder is called Osman Aga and the secret of this ice-cream is that it is made from goat milk. Its form is a bit harder than the other ice-creams. Another famous product of Kahramanmaraş is its ‘tarhana’. You can find it in Kahramanmaraş’s grand bazaar. Its taste is a bit sour. The province is famous for its spicy and meaty foods. The examples will be; ekşili(sour) soup, Eli böğründe kebab, mumbar dolması, kellepaça soup, etc.

    Mersin is in the south of Turkey. There is the mediterranean sea. In summer, people swim in the sea. There are lots of beautiful beaches. It is rainy in winters. Also, Mersin has many delicious meals. The most delicious ones are tantuni, şalgam, cezerye and batırık. Tantuni is a meal that prepared with meat. Şalgam is a drink and cezerye is a desert. Batırık is a refreshment meal. Moreover, Mersin is a historical city. There are lots of castles and structures coming from old civilizations. For example, there is Kız Kalesi, AnamuriumCastle and Ancient City. Therefore, Mersin is also a touristic place at the same time.
