Third Day. Route of the Río Seco. Pinar de Campoverde.
We started the route learning about the fauna of the area. Ignacio, the environmental educator, explained to us in detail how they take care of the animals that are injured at the Alicante Recovery Center. From there he brought us a hedgehog and several native birds that, once recovered, our Erasmus companions have released and returned to their habitat.
After enjoying a picnic in the Rio Seco rest area, we made a small hiking route to clean the path of plastics and garbage so that we can enjoy green nature. 3rd graders were with us the whole time.

Día 3. Ruta del Río Seco. Pinar de Campoverde.
Comenzamos la ruta aprendiendo sobre la fauna de la zona. Ignacio, el educador ambiental, nos ha explicado con detalle cómo cuidan a los animales que están heridos en el Centro de Recuperación de Alicante. Desde allí nos ha traído un erizo y varias aves autóctonas que, una vez recuperadas, nuestras compañeras Erasmus han liberado y devuelto a su hábitat.
Tras disfrutar de un picnic en el área de descanso del Río Seco, hemos hecho una pequeña ruta senderista para limpiar el sendero de plásticos y de desechos y así poder disfrutar de la naturaleza.
