Delicate balance
Our environment has a large impact on our health and well-being therefore we should feel comfortable with what’s around us starting from our neighbourhood. Fresh and clean air, shade trees, bright flowers combined with glass buildings, cutting-edge technology and modern transport without traffic gams would make my ideal town. Eco-friendly doesn’t strictly mean obsolete nor antiquate because innovation is the key to transform a developing society into a more sustainable one. It’s a matter of taking a step further not behind, being green doesn’t mean giving up the advantages of modern life but making sure they are compatible with natural environment. Climate change and pollution are serious issues that require creative solution because we can’t put the clock’s hands backwards but we can make responsible decisions that respect nature’s equilibrium which eventually is our own since we’re part of this delicate ecosystem.
