    At first, we watched some related videos and we made a discussion about SID. Then, we decided to create a poster to celebrate this awareness day.

    Sheeplive project (OVCE.sk in Slovak)

    The Sheeplive project (OVCE.sk in Slovak) was initiated by the civic association eSlovensko as an integral part of the Zodpovedne.sk, Pomoc.sk and Stopline.sk projects.
    The main goal of the project is to create a series of cartoons for children and an international internet portal. 
    The project focuses on the safety of children and youth, in particular the risks related to the internet, mobile phones and new technologies. The project serves as a prevention tool for children, wittily shows teenagers a mirror of their improper behaviour and gives adults an opportunity to learn.

    On February 9, 2021, children from the "Dwarfs" group from Kindergarten No. 1 "BAJKA" in Myszków once again celebrated the Safer Internet Day. I reported the initiative of SID celebrations in our group on the DBI.pl website - SUBMIT SID INITIATIVE and we were one of the six centers in Myszków that took part in the celebrations, but as the only kindergarten. Children were acquainted with the basic principles of safe use of the Internet with the use of a poster and through the fairy tales from the Sieciaki.pl series, which they watched with great interest. "Dwarfs" colored the word SAFE INTERNET DAY. Each child chose one of the discussed rules of safe internet and made a picture on their own. I posted the inscription along with the art works and the RULES OF SAFE INTERNET on the newspaper in the hall. All children could admire interesting works, and parents could learn about the rules. We attempted to role-play by eager children with an "stranger friend" from the Internet. I wanted to show you what are the dangers on the Internet and how to protect yourself from them. The children did a great job during the interview and, despite insistence, did not provide their personal details or their address. It is precisely this activity of the child that allows for better value building and positive pro-social behavior. "Krasnoludki" know very well that you need to keep your distance from acquaintance with the Internet and never completely trust people you meet online - according to the principle: "You never know who is on the other side!" digital security, both at the international and local level, combining the involvement of many institutions, but also the family, that is the closest surroundings of the child, "Dwarfs" made paper laptops with the words SAFE INTERNET DAY (they gave them a lot of joy) and took them home. They were to repeat to their parents what they had learned in kindergarten
