My kids and I tried out my daughters ’old Spirograph game of spiral drawing. This game was very popular with children, it teaches to know different figures, develops motor skills and creativity.

Su vaikais išbandėme seną dukterų spirografinio spiralinio piešimo žaidimą. Šis žaidimas buvo labai populiarus tarp vaikų, jis moko pažinti skirtingas figūras, lavina motoriką ir kūrybiškumą.

Boružiukams patinka eksperimentuoti su spalvomis. Spalvas jie dažė ant vienkartinio rankšluosčio. Panardinus spalvas į vandenį, stebėjau, kaip spalvos kyla - vanduo eina. Vaikai vandenyje pamatė spalvingus fejerverkus.

„Boružiukai „enjoy experimenting with colors.They painted the colors on a disposable towel. Dipping the colors into the water watched the colors rise — the water walks. The children saw colorful fireworks in the water.

Children already know that the rainbow is the colors of the sun, they are reflected in the sky when it rains and the sun shines.

We took part in a local eTwinning event with the children, We know what kind of Earth we want to live on! (2021-03-19-2021-03-27), organized by our project partner from Lithuania Aušra Rašytinienė. The result of the event - germinated, grows perfectly.

 NATURE

Our plants have already grown considerably. The children were interested to watch Oliziukai's "hair" grow as the beans sprouted in jars without ground. Bean sprouts were planted in the ground and after 3 days the beans were planted. On earth, beans grow rapidly. We concluded that the plants need the land, water and heat they need to grow well.

Mūsų augalai jau gerokai išaugo. Vaikams buvo įdomu stebėti, kaip auga Oliziukų „plaukai“, kaip pupelės dygsta stiklainiuose be žemės. Pupelių daigai buvo pasodinti žemėje. Žemėje pupelės greitai auga. Padarėme išvadą, kad augalams reikia žemės, vandens ir šilumos, kad jie gerai augtų.

PROJEKTO ŽEMĖLAPIO TYRINĖJIMAS / THE EXPLORATION OF PROJECT MAP

Mielos projekto partnerės, kviečiu su vaikais pakeliau po projekto žemėlapį ir prisiminti iš kokių šalių projekte dalyvavo vaikučiai ir jų mokytojai. ,,Varliukams" labai patiko patyrinėti pasaulio žemėlapį, prisiminti savo šalies vėliavą bei dar kartą susipažinti su partnerių šalių vėliavomis.

All the actions were done by the children themselves. They noticed where he was wrong. We managed to pierce 8 pencils ... thanks Juste.

Boružiukai stebėjo projekto partnerių atliktus eksperimentus. Jiems patiko eksperimentas „Pradurtas maišelis“. Visus veiksmus vaikai atliko patys. Jie pastebėjo, kur jie klydo. Mums pavyko perverti 8 pieštukus ... ačiū Justei.

The children of my group "Boružiukai“ also really liked KINDERGARTEN "VERSMĖ" KLAIPĖDA, LITHUANIA experiment "Colored house" (thanks for the idea Irena Šėgždienė).

                         „SPALVOTAS PIEŠINYS“   --"COLOR DRAWING"

We took advantage of this idea. The kids drew whatever they wanted. We used two methods. 1. Fill the drawing with water.

2.We put a paper towel on the drawing and watered it with water.

The second way the kids liked it more. The colors poured playfully.

The children watched the miraculously colored drawing, exploring the spilled colors.

Mes pasinaudojome šia idėja. Vaikai piešė, ką tik norėjo. Mes naudojome du metodus. 1. Užpildykite piešinį vandeniu.2. Ant piešinio uždėjome popierinį rankšluostį ir palaistėme vandeniu. Antras būdas vaikams patiko labiau. Spalvos liejosi žaismingai.

Boružiukai is experimenting with teachers - untraditionally sowing and planting. We used secondary raw materials for germination - a tray from candy, sawdust. Already a day later we noticed that germination requires a lot of moisture. Children watch what is happening on the "green windowsill" every day

„Boružiukai“ eksperimentuoja su mokytojais - netradiciškai sėja ir sodina. Daiginimui naudojome antrines žaliavas - padėklą iš saldainių, pjuvenų. Jau po dienos pastebėjome, kad daiginti reikia daug drėgmės. Vaikai kiekvieną dieną stebi, kas vyksta ant „žaliosios palangės“

„Boružiukai „planted, sowed seeds in loose soil. They know that seeds need to germinate need sun heat, water to grow. The children will watch and wait for the seedlings to appear.

Adam and Vytautas' fathers made nests together with their children. We raised them in the trees at the "boružiukai" group site.

Adomo ir Vytauto tėvai inkilėlius darė kartu su savo vaikais. Mes juos iškėlėme „boružiukų“ grupės aikštelėje esančiuose medžiuose.

        The children built the "Lithuanian Castle." Vaikai pastatė „Lietuvos pilį“.

We used secondary raw materials for the creation of the castle: toilet paper rolls, stoppers, cardboard packaging paper......

Pilies sukūrimui panaudojome antrines žaliavas: tualetinio popieriaus ritinius, kamščius, kartoninį pakavimo popierių ......

They painted the rolls of toilet paper in three colors - yellow, green, red. Together with the teacher, the rolls were glued  using hot glue. This castle is a gift to Lithuania.

  Tualetinio popieriaus ritinius jie nudažė trimis spalvomis - geltona, žalia, raudona. Kartu su mokytoja ritiniai buvo klijuojami karštais klijais. Ši pilis yra dovana Lietuvai.

ARROW THAT CHANGES DIRECTION

Materials:
First, let's show our students the arrow picture. So let's put it on the back of the water jar and show it. The arrow has changed direction.
How did that happen?

 We see objects from the lights they reflect to our eyes. The light that allows us to see objects refracts differently in air, water and glass. That is, it breaks when moving from one medium to another.
So we saw that the arrow shape was reversed.

Grupėje įsirengėme ,,Žaliąją palangę“. Kartu su vaikais sėjome įvairias žoleles (krapus, velykinę žolytę, bazilikus) bei pomidorus. Vaikai skaičiavo sėklytes, jas lygino, uostė. Na, o pasėję dabar rūpestingai prižiūri, laisto, stebi kaip pradeda dygti mažieji daigeliai.

We decided to make the ,,Green corner” in the group. Together with the children we sowed various herbs (dill, Easter herb, basil) and tomatoes. The children counted the seeds, compared them, harbor. Well, and after sowing, they are now carefully caring for, watering and watching the little seedlings begin to germinate.

The kids enjoyed the untried experiments and they want to try them. Greta enjoyed the experiment "Remove the coin without getting your hands wet". Vytas, Adam liked the experiments of Turkish children.

EKSPERIMENTAS ,,PIEŠTUKŲ ŠULINYS"/ EXPERIMENTS ,,WELL FROM PENCILS"

Šią savaitę stebėdami įvairias projekto partnerių veiklas vaikai išsirinko kelis eksperimentus, kuriuos nori kuo greičiau išbandyti. Pirmasis, kuris labai sudomino mažuosius ,,Varliukus” buvo – pieštukų šulinys. Pirmiausia mergaitės bandė atsirinkti eksperimentui tinkamus pieštukus, bandė dėlioti, stebėjo, kad jei pieštukai dedi ne tiesiai, tada ,,šulinys” krypsta į šoną ir išsiardo. Mergaitės ieškojo būdų ir išeičių kaip pastatyti tokį šulinį, kuris nesugriūtų.

This week, following the various activities of the project partners, the children selected several experiments that they wanted to try as soon as possible. The first one who was very interested in the little "Frogs" was a well of pencils. Atlikome eksperimentą „Kodėl gintaras yra Baltijos jūros dugne?“ Ačiū Astai Želionienei iš Šiaulių darželio „Coliukė“.

We did an experiment "Why is amber at the bottom in the Baltic Sea?"Thanks to Asta Želionienė from Šiauliai kindergarten "Coliukė".

Mes taip pat su vaikais atlikome eksperimentą "UŽŠALDYTAS ŽAISLIUKAS". Vaikai stebėjo kintančią ledo išvaizdą. Aiškinosi, kas įvyksta ledą pabarsčius druska, užlašinus  šilto vandens. Stebėjo, kaip druska graužiasi gilyn į ledą padarydama jį korėtą. Ačiū už puikią idėją Irenai Šėgždienei iš Klaipėdos vaikų darželio "Versmė"!

We also did an experiment with the children "FROZEN TOY". The children watched the changing appearance of the ice. It became clear what happens when you sprinkle ice with salt and add warm water. Watched the salt gnaw deep into the ice making it honeycomb. Thanks to Irena Šėgždienė from Klaipėda kindergarten "Versmė" for a great idea!

Mano grupės "Pelėdžiukai" vaikams taip pat labai patiko KINDERGARTEN „VERSMĖ“  KLAIPĖDA, LITHUANIA bandymas "Spalvotas namelis" (ačiū už idėją Irena Šėgždienė ). Vaikai stebėjo stebuklingai nusidažantį piešinį, tyrinėjo išsiliejusias spalvas. 

The children of my group "Pelėdžiukai" also really liked KINDERGARTEN "VERSMĖ" KLAIPĖDA, LITHUANIA experiment "Colored house" (thanks for the idea Irena Šėgždienė).

EXPERIMENTS WITH CANDLES/ EKSPERIMENTAI SU ŽVAKĖMIS

Įkvėpti projekto partnerių (Birutė Balsaitienė, Esra Baykara) atliktomis veiklomis, nusprendėme ir mes paaeksmerimentuoti su žvakėmis. Tyrinėjome kas vyksta su vašku kai žvakė dega, o kas vyksta kai ji nustoja degti. Stebėjome, kad nutiktų jei žvakę uždengtume ir ji aplink ją neliktų deguonies. O įdomiausia dalis vaikams buvo stebėti kas nutinka su žvakės vašku kai jį įlašiname į vandenį. Vaikai buvo labai kūrybiški, nes viską ką matė stengėsi susieti su kosmosu. Sustingęs vaškas jiems priminė žvaigždes, kometas ir net planetas.

Inspired by the activities of the project partners (Birutė Balsaitienė, Esra Baykara), we decided to experiment with candles.We  researched what happened to wax when a candle burns and what happens when it stops burning. We watched it happen if we covered the candle and there was no oxygen left around it. And the most interesting part for the kids was watching what happens to the candle wax when we add it to the water. The children were very creative as they tried to connect everything they saw to space. The stiff wax reminded them of stars, comets, and even planets.

The living creature cannot breathe without oxygen. 

The research found a lack of oxygen for the candle. We talkd about the oxygen so that is also important for humanity, plant and animals.

We took part in the local eTwinning event Bee Hotel with our children, organized by our project partner from Turkey Ayfer EKİZ. We talked about bees. The children learned where the bees live, how useful they are, what they do during the winter. The children became interested in honeycombs created by bees. The children learned what the shape of a honeycomb is, learned to call it a hexagon. We counted all the corners of the honeycomb. Each child made one honeycomb. We glued them together in one large honeycomb and placed them in the hive. Two girls created 2 bees that settled in our hive.

Mes kalbėjome apie bitutes. Vaikai sužinojo kur bitės gyvena, kuo jos yra naudingos, ką jos veikia žiemos metu. Vaikai susidomėjo biči ų sukurtais koriais. Vaikai aiškinosi, kokia yar korio forma, išmoko pavadinti - šešiakampis. Suskaičiavo visus korio kampus.Kiekvienas vaikas pagamino po vieną korį. Visus suklijavome į vieną didelį korį ir sudėjome į avilį. Dvi mergaitės sukūrė 2 bites, kurios ir apsigyveno mūsų bičių avilyje.

We participated with the children in the local eTwinning event “We are not terrified of winter when we have good friends!”, organized by our project partner from Lithuania Aušra Rašytinienė (2021-01-18-2021-01-27).

We talked to the children about the importance of taking care of the small birds left in Lithuania for the winter. We discussed how we could feed them, how we could make feeders. On the trees in the kindergarten we hung the "tubers" brought by the parents for feeding the birds, which were made from various groats and seeds. Others shared photos of how they made and decorated the feeder from various boxes, paper rolls already used. It is very important to take care of our little friends.

We tried to draw with the children on a protective wrapping sheet. We made Christmas greetings and sent this etwinning project to the partners of Lithuania, Romania and Turkey.

It's time to thank!

I would like to thank my colleague, project curator and developer Aušra Rašytinienė for help in participating in the project, assistance in mastering computer technologies, increasing IT competencies, for consultations on working with Promo (I learned how to make films), "Book creator", "Story jumper", with which I created the first e-books for my children, it's a great experience with the eTwinning platform. Ką mes naktį galime pamatyti danguje? Daaaaug žvaigždžių! Taigi, grupėje pamėginome atlikti ekpserimentą su mediniai dantų krapštukais ir sukurti žvaigždes! Vaikams labia patiko stebėti kaip iš pagaliukų magišku būdu atsiranda žvaigždė!

What can we see in the sky at night? Lot of stars! So, in the group, we tried to do an experiment with wooden toothpicks and create stars! The kids really enjoyed watching the star magically emerge from the sticks!
