The Delegate and General Director of Education of Seville City Council, in addition to presenting our diplomas to the students for the national and European quality seal obtained, with the project "Women with conscience and science: Marie Curie. Looking for etwinnio", presents the new project "Women of the Ocean: Oceans of life" to the entire educational community.

We wanted to raise awareness about a more sustainable Christmas by writing and sending this letter to different newspapers in defence of the oceans.

In honour of the day of the oceans
Today, 8th June, we have celebrated the eTwinning days in our school, disseminating to all students and teachers the results of the projects carried out, especially "Women of the ocean: Oceans of life". Creating a scientific dissemination on plastic pollution, environmental awareness and recognition of women who fight to preserve the health of the oceans and the species that inhabit them.

Ángeles Molina Márquez participates in the course as a speaker in a debate on Educating in Equality in Secondary Education, where she will present the projects carried out by Women with conscience and science: Marie Curie. Looking for eTwinnio" and "Women of the Ocean: Oceans of life", as coeducational and inclusive values. In addition to promoting scientific dissemination among students and environmental awareness of respect for the oceans and nature.

NOVEMBER 2021 OCEANS WEEK
We are going to present the project during the week of the oceans organised by the Buhairarte group and the Luis Cernuda Literary Association as a means of scientific dissemination and environmental awareness.

J. Ángeles Molina Márquez ( Marian) presented the project during the Oceans conference held at the Buhaira Palace in Seville, going into the current state of the oceans, the need for their preservation for our life and the activities that we develop with this eTwinning project.
We also had the collaboration of José Luis Cantador Sicilia, teacher and poet, who dedicated a poem of the sea to us to add to this day dedicated to the diversity of the oceans.

Today we have made the dissemination of our project through an article that has been published in one of the newspaper of our local city.

We have also done the dissemination of our project in a massive online open course called "NATURE BASED SOLUTIONS" organised by European School Academy . A course that transmits knowledge and resources to promote the sustainability, respect and care of nature. And what better idea than to talk about our project that promote respect and care for the oceans of our planet through women scientists from around the world,and to have the opportunity to share our project with partners from different countries.

Students from IES Vega de Atarfe have made dissemination the project through the virtual science fair. The virtyual stand has been mined in "Fundación Descubre" so a lot of the families and students from differents schools have known the project in which we are working. The city council of Atarfe has also collaborated.

We have been fortunate to have a researcher from the CSIC in Marine Sciences, Enrique Gonzalez Ortegon, who has given a training talk by videoconference to all Spanish students and teachers about Antarctica and the problems that are affecting it and have an impact on the conservation of its marine ecosystem and the species that inhabit it.
A few days ago, students received a pleasant surprise from the esteemed researcher of the CSIC- ICMAN Mr. Enrique González Ortegón. He sent us some presents from his environmental project "invblue". We are very grateful to him for his participation in our project and for the gift he sent us. The students have learned a lot about the care of our oceans and the marine species that live in it.

Dissemination of our award and projects "Women with conscience and science: Marie Curie. Looking for eTwinnio" and "Women of the Ocean: Oceans of life".
We present the dissemination video of our coeducational, scientific, holistic and inclusive European eTwinning projects on women scientists and women of the ocean, developed during the academic years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. Here we show you the objectives and the contribution of eTwinning as a European educational platform for teachers and students in the construction of these projects.
