We made our own version of this historical event and the Bayeux Tapestry:

King Edward left his throne to his French grandson, William.

But Harold betrayed him and became the new King of England.

Having heard the news, William ordered to prepare a fleet to cross the Channel and invade England.

Finally Harold was defeated in the Battle of Hastings, and William became the King of England as his grandfather had wished.
