El rayo verde
Soy una piedra de cristal
el rayo verde cae del cielo
y se tapa con el mar;
Es la mujer el rayo verde
que saluda al barco al pasar.
Vuelan las gaviotas
y beben agua del mar.
Atrapado en la arena,
el erizo ha organizado una fiesta,
juega con la caracola
y con la estrella de mar:
el erizo y la estrella bailan sin parar.
Soy un erizo,
me gusta la arena,
mi color favorito es el azul del cielo
y no me gusta el rayo verde.
The Green Ray
I am a glass stone
The green beam falls from the sky
Covered by the sea;
A lady is the green ray
Saluting the passing boat.
Flying seagulls drink sea water.
Trapped in the sand,
The urchin has organized a party,
He plays with the conch and the starfish:
Urchin and starfish dance without stopping.
So I'm an urchin,
I like the sand,
my favorite color is sky blue
and I do not like the green ray.
