  • DAY 4: LANDMARKS

    What is your country like ?

     

    Goal : Get to know the geography of the different partner countries : map, capital city, mountains, rivers, landmarks...

    You will need : microphones and audacity (to record the names of the different places that will be chosen)

    I.INTRODUCTION 

    1.Welcome back

    Six different expressions or sentences have been chosen among the list the partners have worked on. The audience repeat them in all the partners'languages. 

    2.Breaking-ice activity

    What about playing a quiz about European geography ? Please, share your score as soon as you have finished playing !

    II.ACTIVITY  

    Please, subscribe on Genially (choose the free option), select "create a Genially", "gamification", then "Trivial Quiz". Here is the example that you have to work on :

    During this week, each group will work on the geography of the given country (Group 1 : Portugal, Group 2 : Germany, Group 3 : France, Group 4 : Poland, Group 5 : Latvia, Group 6 : Italy). Each one will create a Trivial Pursuit on Genially. 

    Change the name of the categories :

    1. PINK Rivers, mountains (the main ones)

    2. BLUE Capitals and large cities

    3. YELLOW Cultural landmarks (maximum 3)

    4. GREEN Industry from the past and today's factories (1 or 2)

    5. ORANGE Give a sound or a picture and guess the place

    6. PURPLE Historical landmarks (3 max)
