Belgium

We went to some wetlands 10km from our school to bike. A nature guide gave the students an explanation about the fauna and flora in this area. The biggest attention was about the influence of the river "de Schelde". This river was biologically dead 100 years ago, due to pollution. Now we are a few steps closer to a clean river as the gouverment is trying to undo the mistakes in the past.  This will be a location that we will visit in october 2020 when the exchange is in Belgium. The students will be the ones guiding all of you who are coming to Aalst.
