WORK PROCESS
October – November 2019
Ex-ante evaluation: in an online questionnaire pupils and teachers express their opinion and experience in using a bike, educational trips and active methods of teaching/learning.
Introductory activities: presentation of project groups – in a short video students introduce themselves, their school and the local area, they also give some information about the country they live in, however they do NOT reveal its name. The task for partner groups is to guess it judging by the information and photos presented in the video.
December 2019 – January 2020
Winter outside = summer inside: participants work on a piece of fine art which refers to a bike: picture, sculpture, figure made of waste, poem (i.e. haiku). The artwork is documented in an online publication such as flipsnack; and the artwork itself is sent to schools of partnership via traditional post.
February – March 2020
Teacher development corner: an eTwinning event is open both for teachers participating in the project and those who want to develop their skills in using the app “Tour to Do", share ideas of implementing virtual reality into future educational bike trips.
March – April 2020
School on a bike: each partner group organizes a bike trip and in the next step converts the trip into an online tour in a chosen subject (maths, history, language, etc.) for their international peers.
International groups of advisors are formed. Their task is to make a research and indicate interesting sites (the hosts might not have taken into concideration) worth including into the online trip of the particular area.
The tours are done and made public in the app “Tour to Do” or in another (web)app.

A joint spot promoting a bicycle as a convinient and eco-friendly means of transport.
Cycling diary: participants write an entry to the joint diary; the entry tells about an interesting, unusual bike trip or adventure.
