    PoliMediation

The Mediation team of our School has been put into operation. They are high school students who are going to intervene in conflicts between classmates at the centre; confrontations that can be considered serious and that can lead to harassment.

Their work will be important to establish communication channels and strategies that help to resolve misunderstandings, disputes and resentments that can cloud the coexistence between the educational community.

    Let’s break the ties

Our School visualized its solidarity with the creation of an installation in one of its interior patios.

Students worked during several sessions in the elaboration of posters with messages of encouragement, solidarity and courage to the women who currently suffer abuse.

Its symbolic nature aims to make our young people aware that they are the most effective tool to develop the necessary changes to create a more tolerant and respectful society against special cases of bullying.

Peace Day, for a better coexistence in PEACE

On January 30, the International Day of Peace is celebrated around the world. For that day, our school made the Tree of Peace.

The Tree of Peace is a mural inspired by the work of Klimt, and has been made with recycled plugs on an area of 2 x 2.5 meters.

Now it looks over one of the entrance doors to the center.

    Coexistence Day

In this course, the school is part of a network of centres in the province of Malaga that are seeking new answers to the challenge of improving the coexistence within the celebration of the European Mediation Day.

Debates have been held to establish how to carry out mediation and conflict resolution in the school, including bullying, around a theme, Communication in coexistence.

Finally, different workshops have been completed, including one for Batucada, and a final concert,… in addition to the development of the Solidarity Market.

    Peace Day Exhibition

A photo exhibition has been held to raise awareness of the problem of bullying and coexistence in Peace.

    ITALY

Italian students started the activity with a group discussion about the topic, then they wrote down some catchphrases and their experiences with bullying.

The next step was gathering all the texts, some audio files of the texts written and read by them, a comic strip and some videos, together in an e-book

A comic strip was completely created by one of the participants who is a 14-year-old SNST. It has become a video thanks to the video-making skills of another student who is also the speaking voice of the characters

EBOOK WAS CREATED BY THE ITALIAN STUDENTS. YOU CAN READ AND ALSO LISTEN TO SOME TESTS

The school organized some awareness days on Bullying under the name of “From Bullying to Legality” and students met important authorities and representatives in the field of prevention of Bullying like the PROSECUTOR GENERAL of Juvenile Court, the Inspector of Police, a judge, a writer.
