At the beginning of May 2022, the National High School in Finance and Business (NHSFB) hosted a meeting on the SEDIFIEE project: STRENGTHENING EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION FOR AN INTERCULTURAL EUROPEAN EDUCATION, for schools in Croatia, Greece, Italy and Spain, and our Turkish partners participated online.
The foreign delegations visited the NHSFB and attended a presentation on training companies in economics at the school. Students from all project teams presented their research on "European values" at the national level and visited the House of Europe, getting acquainted with the latest EU youth initiatives.
The work program continued with creating and recording scenarios related to different dimensions of European values. The May sun allowed us to show Sofia in all its glory to our partners. The day ended with a search for attractions in escape rooms that were accessible to students in international groups via QR codes, while some teachers went to a classical concert.
Participants wrote stories on the eTwinning platform, which is an integral part of the project, creating five stories on the topic and voting online to choose the best one. The guests visited the National Archaeological Museum and got acquainted with the history of Sofia
The cultural program also included a visit to the town of Panagyurishte and participation in the celebrations on the occasion of the 146th year of the April Uprising. We shared good practices in our work on projects under the Erasmus + program with students and teachers from the school "Nesho Bonchev" - Panagyurishte.
On St. George's Day, during the Open Day of the Presidency, the guests managed to take pictures with the Bulgarian President. In the afternoon, all teachers and students spent several hours in nature, participating in team games, learning about the stone rivers of Vitosha mountain, walking along the Botanical Alley for the Blind and joining a clean-up campaign. The culmination of the evening was the LUNAR Festival of Lights.
