I.gimnazija Osijek is a general high school(grammar school)situated in the centre of Osijek, Eastern Croatia.General education curriculum makes I.gimnazija attractive to a large number of students who are aged between 15-18, although we lack larger school facilities. There are 650 students in our school and 55 teachers. The school’s facilities include: 14 classrooms,1 ICT lab, a library and a reading room. Our students ,who come from different socio-economic backgrounds,get the same level of education in foreign languages, science and social subjects. There are several advanced groups that gifted students can join. Our school has achieved a lot of great results in competitions, from science to sports. We have participated in many etwinning projects ,two Comenius
projects( From being a citizen of a country to being a citizen of the EU and Training for
life:Leadership initiative for Europe) ,three Erasmus+KA1 projects,we have coordinated two Erasmus+KA2 and were partners in another KA2. Also,we were partners in an IPA project.
