GEOCACHING EXPERIENCE: SPAIN MEETING 29/04/19

Last May 15th, the Erasmus students, together with their Spanish hosts and teachers from the different countries, participated in an activity held in the town Cuevas del Almanzora (Almería), where students and teachers enjoyed a day outdoors "hunting treasures" using the "geocaching" app on their mobile phones.

It was a fun and enriching experience where the students learnt to orient themselves while they saw the town of Cuevas del Almanzora and some of its most representative historical places.

El pasado 15 de mayo, los alumnos Erasmus junto con sus anfitriones españoles y profesores de distintos países, participaron en una actividad llevada a cabo en el pueblo almeriense Cuevas del Almanzora, donde alumnos y profesores disfrutaron de una jornada al aire libre “cazando tesoros” utilizando la app “geocaching” en sus teléfonos móviles.

Fue una experiencia divertida donde los alumnos aprendieron a orientarse a la vez que vieron el pueblo de Cuevas del Almanzora y algunos de sus lugares históricos más representativos.

Skolēnu apmācību aktivitāte C4 par tematu "Vēsturiskie dārgumi" sastāvēja no 5 daļām:

1) studentu prezentācijas par vēsturiskiem notikumiem un vietām viņu valstīs

2) plakāta izveidošana, izmantojot 50 atslēgvārdus par katras valsts svarīgākajiem vēsturiskajiem notikumiem

3) vēsturiski nozīmīgu vietu apmeklēšana Spānijā. Dalībnieki devās ekskursijā uz Granadu un Alhambras

  cietoksni

4) piedalījās vēsturisko vietu atrašanas spēlē, izmantojot vietni www.geocatching.com

5) starptautisks vakars, kas bija veltīts pavasara un vasaras tradicionālajām svinībām visās partnervalstīs

Izveidotie plakāti un prezentācijas tika ievietoti projekta vietnē e-sadraudzības platformā.

Mācību pasākumā iesaistītie dalībnieki:

1) uzzināja par svarīgākajiem vēsturiskajiem notikumiem partnervalstīs, kā arī iepazina cilvēku attieksmi pret tiem

2) praktiski izmantoja aplikāciju www.geocatching.com, meklējot vēsturiskas vietas Pulpi

3) uzzināja par pavasara un vasaras svētku svinēšanas tradīcijām visās partnervalstīs

4) devās ekskursijā uz Granādas pilsētu un iepazinās ar Pasaules mantojuma pieminekli - Alhambras cietoksni.

C 4 Student learning activity C 4 on "Historical Treasures" consisted of 5 parts:

1.   students’ presentations on historical events and places in their countries
2.   creation of  a poster using 50 keywords about each country's most important historical events
3.   visiting historically important places in Spain. Participants went on a tour to Granada and Alhambra

       fortress

4) participation in finding historical places game using the web site www.geocatching.com

5) an international evening dedicated to the spring and summer traditional celebrations in all the partner countries

The created posters and presentations are placed on the project website on the e-twinning platform.

The participants involved in the learning activity:

1) learned about the most important historical events in the partner countries, as well as got to know people's attitude towards them

2) practically used the application www.geocatching.com in search of historical sites in Pulpi

3) learned about the traditions of celebrating spring and summer holidays in all the partner countries

4) went on a tour of the city of Granada and became acquainted with the World Heritage Monument - Alhambra Fortress.
