We will use eTwinning live to create an event for every meeting or collaborative activity during the project.
All project work will go onto the twinspace.
Overview of Activities that need to be completed
Activity 1: We have set up an ongoing blog on the eTwinning space. All day to day activities will be put on the blog.
Activity 2: Welcome from the Mascot for each school. We have created a padlet on the twinspace for this. All Mascots have said hello. We need to create another padlet so that every class can be introduced, a quick video clip. 1 padlet for each school.
Activity 3: Each school had a competition to design a logo. A voting system was used to choose the top ones from each school. During the planning meeting a further vote was cast to decide the winning overall logo.
Activity 4: Christmas messages – We have decided that rather than just celebrate our Christmas messages we will create a file on the twinspace to share all our cultural and religious festivals. This may include carnival, republic days, Easter, etc.
Activity 5: Core values – to be completed to share at our Italian mobility. Each school will work on the starfish story. We are all from different countries but together we can do great things if we believe in the same values and share them. We need to make 10 starfish and 10 children for each school including our own to take to Italy. We will also think about what the values of friendship.
Activity 6: Living as a child in Europe. This is my town, this is what we learn in school and this is what I like to do out of school.
Ongoing activities
Skype meetings between the schools to be arranged between the co-ordinators as and when. We will create a folder to show the evidence.
Festivals to be shared and celebrated as and when they happen.
Diaries to be ongoing, please put Mascot activities into the Spring Term folder.
We will also set up an area on the twinspace for sharing musical activities.
Mobilities for the project
Italy – 10th – 15th March
Bulgaria 16th – 20th June
Turkey 13th – 17th October
Portugal and England to be agreed at a later date
Logo Competition
1st Place - Italy
2nd Place -Turkey
3rd Place - Bulgaria
The Italian team will put the logo together for the twinspace and to put on all official documents. This will be presented in Italy.
The Portuguese team will be responsible for collating the end product of our core values. (Starfish). Each team will present our presentations in Italy. Then the Italian team will collate the end product to take to Bulgaria.
The English team will be responsible for making a shared format for designing a format for the European Child. We will share this in Italy. England will then collate this into an end product in Turkey.
In Bulgaria we will have another planning meeting to plan the following year’s activities.

- We need to ensure that the minutes document has been signed from our London visit. Lilliana will print it, sign it and her team will bring it to Milan to be back dated.
