high school students like doing their own crafts in their dreams..we prepared school board as it was the Atatürk week in Turkey. Also we played some games by using writing skills.We wrote postcards to each other.
Also we did sister school activity and wrote happy new year post cards to the students of Mersin Atayurt Secondary School..it was great to send and have gifts also:)

this game is called run and write .Students were divided in two groups and asked to run one by one and write any word related to parties.the winner is the one with more words .

Students wrote letters to an unknown pen pal giving some basic information about themselves.
the pictures of the abilities and the inabilities of some animals are on the board. we have a mistery box nad in that box there are some materials of these acitvites such a microphone(sing a song), a horse(ride a horse), etc. one student comes to the board and choose a material from the mystery box. look at it and try to make a sentence about her/himself using the can and can't structure and write it on the board.

My students have written letters and postcards for three months. We wrote letters and postcards to our friends in Romania. We sent e-mails to our sister school students in Azerbaijan. These are really great activities for students.

we created a game with learning apps.First students read the sentence and complete it.
We created some questions with learningapps and answered them by writing.
I wrote a sentence at the beginning and a sentence at the end.Then I wanted the class to write a story all together.They wrote a meaningful story between these two sentences.
We described the cartoon characters.
The students wrote sentences using can or can't. more sentences writes is the winner in two minutes.
We wrote these questions on the board.The students answered the questions by writing.
We used some apps to make writing enjoyable.

The students sticked some pictures on a paper.they wrote sentences about the pictures wiht simple present tense.
One of the students chose some cards about seasons,weather conditions and clothes.she tried to write a paragraph about these cards.

GIVING DIRECTION
I divided the classroom into 7 groups. Each group drew a map.Then , they gave direction to go to different places on the map and wrote some dialogues.It was a nice activity for my students to practise their new subject.
