Final survey!
We did survey at the beginning, middle and at the end of our project to test knowledge about Turopolje. Here are results:

On Computer Science classes during February 2020. students learned how to work in ThingLink and made their own digital thematic maps of Turopolje.

In February, March and April students explored the architecture and the cultural heritage of Turopolje during geography classes. At the end of this exploration period the students were given the task of making posters for homework. The best posters are displayed in hallway in front of the geography classroom.
At geography class in March, we took a test about homeland. We competed who would know more and who would be quick in the answers. We also learned something new.
During March 2019, on Religion Education classes, our students explored the curtural heritage of Turopolje. We learned that most of the wooden chapels in Turopolje date from the 17th century. Today there are eleven wooden chapels (three in Turopolje, two in Vukomeričke gorice and six in Pokuplje). The chapels are made mainly out of oak.
February 2019.
Students from 8.b class researched traditional wooden architecture of Turopolje region. They learned about examples, valuable houses and churces and its locations. Together with teachers on geography classes they collected their work and made Power Point presentation.
During Transnational activity in Croatia our partners from Macedonia and Italy participated on geography class, where they started work on digital thematic map of Turopolje, together with our students.
Geography lesson in classroom was followed by orientation practice in nature. Participants of Transnational activity in Croatia used thematic maps, topographic maps and compasses and practiced their orienteering skills around Velika Gorica.
