FAREWELL TO THE GREENLANDERS 

On Thursday 4 April , a farewell party was held at our school since our Greenlanders friends would leave the next day. After we had all come to school at 7pm, we gathered in the event hall. Our principal welcomed us and then one of the teachers of Greenland gave a speech. Then we watched some videos about the activities that took place during the stay of the French and the Greenlanders. These activities were related to the combination of our cultures. Afterwards we tested food prepared by the students' families and while students of  the Greek school were playing music the Greenlanders showed us traditional games from their country, called inuit games. Last but not least, the students danced together. When the party ended, we were all sad because of the departure of our friends but also happy we had the opportunity to meet them.

On Saturday, May 11, a farewell party was held at our school since our French friends would leave the next day. After we had all come to school at 7pm, we gathered in the event hall. Our principal welcomed us and then one of the French teachers gave a speech. Then we watched some videos about the activities that took place during the stay of the French and the Greenlanders. These activities were related to the combination of our cultures. Afterwards we tested food prepared by the students' families, while students of the French and Greek school were playing music from their country. Last but not least, the students danced together. When the party ended, we were all sad because of the departure of our friends but also happy we had the opportunity to meet them.
