Students know where Portugal is situated in Europe

Students identify the Portuguese flag

Students recognize some places and monuments in Portugal

Introduction:

Teachers introduce themselves briefly and ask students their names

Activities/ Methods:

Teachers show the students a map of Portugal covered with its flag;

Students are asked about the colours of the flag;

Students are given a Kaleidocycle where they have to paint the Portuguese flag;

Students build up and glue the parts of the Kaleidocycle, where they can see different parts and monuments of Portugal;

Evaluation:

Teachers play a video so that students can recognize the different pictures they have on the Kaleidocycle.
