Songs and Traditional Dances

It was attended by all the students of the school, parents and the general public, including representatives of the local Education Directorate, the municipality and the diocese of Komotini. Welcome speeches by the distinguished local authorities’ delegates were followed by a display of popular songs from the partner countries, performed by the school band and choir. Afterwards, there was a performance of traditional dances of Thrace by students of the hosting school. At the end of the dancing section, all the members of the audience joined in the dance, and the ceremony ended after a warm round of applause.

The activity is rendered successful, as the average evaluation scores on the part of both teachers and students produced an aggregate result of:

good 16,7% (23,5%) and excellent 83,3% (64,7%) correspondingly.
