Topic-related activities

  • In the first day of ICT courses (the second of the LTTA meeting), the students learned about the activities and the applications developed in C1 (in Poland)  and C2 ( in Romania) using MIT App Inventor platform.

The Polish team with the Greek team presented the applications that were designed during the first learning and training activity of the project (C1-Poland).They made also an introduction in App Inventor platform.

The Romanian students presented the activities held in C2 - Romania , the steps and the algorithm for developing the application that the students created in  Romania during the third learning and training activity of the project.

In the third day  the students were divided in multicultural teams and assigned a topic - they work together from the sketching of the project idea to the prototype testing. They started to develop the application “TIC TAC TOE”. Because of the simplicity of tic-tac-toe, it is often used as a pedagogical tool for teaching the concepts of good sportsmanship and the branch of artificial intelligence that deals with the searching of game trees. It is straightforward to write a computer program to play tic-tac-toe perfectly or to enumerate the 7665 essentially different positions (the state space complexity) or the 26,830 possible games up to rotations and reflections (the game tree complexity) on this space. Students presented their work at the end of the day.
